Functional hypothalamic amenorrhoea (FHA) is an endocrine disorder secondary to a deficiency of pulsatile gonadatrophin-releasing hormone (GnRH) secretion. It is not related to hypothalamus-pituitary organic lesions, endocrine or systemic disease.
